Exquisite Contemporary Jewelry from Ancient Culture

_____________________________________________________________________________

On the remote northern coast of what is now British Columbia flourished from antiquity the Tsimshian Nation. This was a complex Aboriginal culture that evolved in the mists of the emerald coastal temperate rain forest. The dazzling Tsimshian arts embodied the mystical, the supernatural--evoking a time and a spirituality when people were more closely connected to nature and mother earth.

The stunning artwork and imagery of the Tsimshian have now been blended with the most sophisticated jewelry techniques and design by master artist, Bill Helin. Bill is a member of the Gitchiis Tribe of the Tsimshian Nation. He is son of Hyemass-one of the most famous Tsimshian Chief warriors of ancient coastal legend. Bill has become internationally renowned for the refined quality of his work as an artist/designer, and his versatility in various artistic mediums.

Bill has designed a line of exquisite hand engraved, custom and cast jewelry that is now available for public purchase. You can now own a unique piece of stylish, and trendy bling bling--a beautiful legacy of a golden age and culture.

Joining Bill in his mission to provide a wide selection of wearable art are his sister Leanne and son Alex.

Navajo and Zuni Sterling Silver Southwestern Jewelry

Most of our sterling silver southwestern Indian jewelry is made by Navajo and Zuni and other Native American Indians of New Mexico and Arizona.
They are famous for their work in sterling silver jewelry and the intricate inlay work using turquoise, coral, and other natural semi-precious stones in this sterling silver southwestern jewelry.

The Navajo indian silversmiths are experts in fashioning sterling silver southwestern jewelry with turquoise and coral into fine sterling silverearrings, necklaces, pendants, rings, and other southwestern sterling silver jewelry.

The Zuni Indians are equally famous for their intricate stone inlays in sterling silver jewelry. The necklaces, earrings, pendants and other sterling silver jewelry made by the Zuni are noted for their fine detail in turquoise, coral and other natural stones used in their jewelry.

A note of caution! We know of no person who can look at a piece of jewelry and say for a fact who made it, unless that person either witnessed it being made, or made it themselves. A bracelet, for example, cannot talk. A name engraved inside it cannot talk. A "certificate" attached to it
cannot talk. Even though we have many, many years experience in buying and selling the type of jewelry seen on these pages, we do not, and can
not, claim to know for an absolute fact who, how, nor when it was made. Accordingly, we may indicate "Navajo", "Hopi", "Zuni", or other such
descriptions which means it is our belief that the piece being shown represents the style of a particular tribe as we know it. It does not mean that we
are saying for a fact that it was made by any particular tribe. We are traders and do not have mystic powers.

There are items shown here that we know are not hand made - although most are. We do not claim every item is hand made, or, even "Indian
made", although, again, most are. What we try to do is honestly describe the products to you, our customers, to the best of our ability.

The thing that we do claim, is that some items we identify with a particular tribe because we firmly believe them to be made by that tribe. This is one
reason we have our liberal return policy. When an item is received by you, the purchaser, and there is doubt in your mind, or the mind of others,
concerning it's authenticity, feel free to return the item according to our return policy, which is:
