The Tsimshian Nation is comprised of approximately 10,000 members of the seven member First Nations which include: Kitselas, Kitsumkalum, the Allied Tribes of Lax Kw'Alaams, Metlakatla, Kitkatla, Gitga'at (Hartley Bay) and Kitasoo (Klemtu). The Tsimshian is one of the largest groups of First Nations' people in Northwest British Columbia, Canada. The other tribes in the pacific northwest include the Gitksan, Haida, Haisla, and the Nisga'a Nations.
